There are a total of six deer family molds, four Friends and two System. Four are found in licensed sets, three of them representing specific characters: Bambi and Sven (Disney). Including Bambi, four of these are fawns. The first deer released with System sets has a glitter trans-light blue color, unprinted.

Adult deer in both Friends and System sets have cutouts on their back, 2×2 for Friends, 1×2 for System. Saddles and harnesses can be used with these animals. The fawn released in 2024 also has a 1×1 cutout. In the images, these cutouts are filled with appropriate pieces to show the animal as a whole.
