Since their release, there have been four different dolphin molds. Two of them can be found in System sets and two in Friends sets, an adult and a baby.

The first System dolphin has three variations, the main difference being the connection type: Abnormal, normal, and normal with axle holder. The connection of the trans-light blue version wasn’t wide enough for two studs to fit. That’s why it’s called an abnormal connection.
